(More customer reviews)My registration was expiring and I needed to renew. I have a sweet nighthawk black Honda Civic SI and decided to get some personalized Batman Batmobile license plates. I saw this "Batman" and "The Dark Knight" plate frames and decided they would enhance the sweetness factor. People's eyes are drawn to the frames then see the plates. "Batman" for the back and "The Dark Knight" for the front.
The plates really shine made from chrome metal. I thought the "Batman" word and symbols would be either painted or etched in. However they are just bumper stickers stuck on the frame. The frame is also beveled on the inside so the license plate fits perfectly flush with the frame. I am happy with my purchase. I hope the stickers hold up to the snow, salt, ice, and rain.
The shipping was a bit pricey around six dollars each for a total of twelve dollars. Both frames were individually placed in their own zip lock bag with a cardboard insert separating them. Then foam wrap around the zip lock bags and inside a large USPS priority envelope. Arrived at my house in three days.
Also, to protect the frames from being stolen. You can purchase special bolts/screws from Auto parts stores like Auto Zone, specifically made to protect frames/plates. I got a set that have curved tops and use a small 4 sided allen wrench with a pin hole in the wrench head (bolts have a pin in the center so you cannot use normal 4 sided wrenches).
